Ryan Hunter-Reay had a very good start at the Molson Indy Montreal; he gained two positions in first five laps when his day ended on the sixth lap due to contact. Ryan Hunter-Reay, #4 Herdez/Lola/Ford-Cosworth Ryan on the race:"The race started out pretty good until I hit the turn nine curbing at the wrong angle, which sent the car to the wall. It's disappointing for myself and for the team. Mario (Dominguez) drove a great race today, I am really happy for him and his #55 crew." Keith Wiggins, Co-Owner/Managing Director:"Obviously I am very disappointed because we had two very fast cars and we didn't win. It is a shame that Ryan went out very early and I feel really bad for Mario because we had a mechanical failure in his pitstop and Mario should have definitely won this race and we let him down." |
