Ryan Hunter-Reay gave Herdez Competition its second top-five finish of the day when he took the checkered flag in the fifth position at Lexmark Indy 300 at Surfer Paradise, Australia. Teammate Mario Dominguez scored his third podium of the season today when he finished third at the Lexmark Indy 300. Ryan on the race:“All in all it's a positive weekend, we take away points for the top five. We had a good day going; unfortunately we had some bad pit stops. I believe we could have definitely finished third or fourth with a little luck. I am looking forward to going to Mexico City where I qualified in the top five and set the fastest race lap in a Reynard. It is a huge race for my team and I would love to give my sponsor a victory on their home turf.” Keith Wiggins:“It was a very interesting race, especially with the fuel strategies. It was good that we had two fast cars, so on the one hand I was hoping we might do a little better but on the other I am happy that both cars picked up some valuable points. It's good to go to Mexico with a podium and two good finishes behind us.” |
