Champ Car World Series Round Ten - Montreal - 28 August 2005 Ryan Hunter-Reay's season-long frustrations continued at Round 10 of the Champ Car World Series in Montreal yesterday. Although delighted for his team-mate, Timo Glock, who finished on the podium, Ryan was disappointed to finish outside the top 10 after starting the weekend with high hopes for a positive result. The event didn't get off to an auspicious start on Friday when Hunter-Reay had an off into the wall which sidelined him for most of the day. A determined effort in qualifying after very little running meant he would start the race on the seventh row of the grid, right behind Glock. Ryan kept his head down during the race and concentrated on bringing the car home safely and in the best possible position. He finished in 12th place after a drama-free race bringing to an end one of his more difficult weekends of the season. "Things just did not go right for us today", commented a disappointed Ryan after the race. There is now a four-week gap in the Champ Car calendar so Ryan will use that time to re-group and look forward to the Las Vegas race where he is hoping that the luck will start to go his way.
