The Altech South African Grand Prix kicks off next week (11-13 November) and Ryan Hunter-Reay will be at the famous Kyalami track in Johannesburg competing for glory in the F1x2 race. The F1x2’s are Formula One cars with a passenger seat installed directly behind the driver. Racing against Ryan will be the likes of Johnny Herbert, Gianni Morbidelli, Patrick Friesacher and many more.
Headlining alongside the F1x2 race is the inaugural Grand Prix Masters event which will re-ignite old rivalries between world-famous drivers such as Nigel Mansell, Emerson Fittipaldi and Alan Jones. The weekend promises to be an amazing event and Ryan is delighted to have a front row seat! “This is a great opportunity for me as I get to do something I love whilst also helping out two worthwhile charities,” said Hunter-Reay. “From what I have heard the Altech South African F1x2 Grand Prix is going to be a blast, especially headlining alongside the first Grand Prix Masters race. There will be a lot of people there who I can’t wait to meet; I think we have a fun week in store!” |
